Notes:

Crossing Warringah Rd can be achieved 1 of 2 ways.  Either cannonball it straight across Warringah Rd, ride up to Fitzpatrick Ave West and turn left (at the Forest Kirk), or take the long scenic route via the overpass as I have done in the video.

There is a cleared area on the western side of Warringah Rd opposite where the pipeline goes underground but it is basically unclimbable .. even without a bike.  You essentially need to head through private property to get up it.  I recommend the better option of riding up Fitzpatrick Ave West.

Ride north along the Warringah Rd footpath up the hill toward the intersection of Warringah Rd and Forest Way.  After crossing Fitzpatrick Ave East you can either follow the footpath around to the right or do what I have done in the video and ride the dirt path close to the road (we are trying to do as much of this off-road as possible).

The paths lead up to the footbridge that crosses Warringah Rd depositing you outside Frenchs Forest Primary School.  Turn left after coming off the bridge and ride back down the footpath toward Fitzpatrick Ave West.

At the intersection of Fitzpatrick Ave West and Grace Ave you can continue straight and descend Fitzpatrick Ave West down to gate.  (If you stay on the left hand side there is a pretty serious bump that could generate big air time!)   Alternatively turn left down Grace Ave and then about 50m down the road turn right where the pipeline resurfaces.

There is parking on Grace Ave, Fitzpatrick Ave West or East.

Comments:

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
