Notes:

The Larool Trail is a short piece of fire trail running from Larool Road Terrey Hills to Myoora Rd, near the golf centres.  It's largely used by Mountain Bikers to link the St Ives Horse Track with other trails in Terrey Hills such as Cooyong-Aumuna Trail (Neverfail Gully Trail),  Perimeter Trail and Duckholes.

There are hills at both ends that should be rideable by beginners with a reasonable level of fitness and is largely straight, with only a couple of kinks in the track.

At the time of filming it had been freshly groomed and due to the excessive rain the surface as soft and clayey however a couple of months later it was a little sandy on a solid base.

There is a small creek crossing at the north end however the strech in the video that is long flat and wet has recently been covered with tonnes of sandstone and sand to create one hell of a rock garden.  While it still stinks of festering horse waste it is far nicer to ride now. (Updated 22/09/2013).

At both ends there are gates with single tracks around them however *they* seem to be trying their best to remove the route around the south end gate - god knows why.  You may need to look closely to find the single tracks or alternatively walk the bike through the narrow gap.

Comments:

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
