Missing Link, the name says it all. The trail connects from the top of the Shady's loop and delivers riders back to the intersection at the end of Pork Barrel and the start of Double Dissolution and Party Line. It is the alternate way back, but at the time of riding was the only way back as the Deadgum Dam trail was closed.
Not dissimilar to Shady's and Spin Doctor, Missing Link is on the climb almost exclusively and despite being a fairly short ride the trail takes it's toll after so much pedalling on the western trails.
Missing Link starts a little technical and rocky but eases as you climb further up the trail. It's rutty in places with some tight climbing switchbacks best attacked with some momentum.
Of all the trails on the way out of the western boundary at Stromlo this trail is the most simple but also the hardest climb.
Definitely rideable for any competent mountain biker.
