Notes:

The Cowan Track is a short 2km ride (one way) not far along the Long Track. Enter via the gate on the western side of the Long Track.

The Cowan Track undulates out to a fantastic spot looking out over the National Park towards Bobbin Head.

The trail is quite rocky in comparison to the majority of the Long Track.  It has a number of short rocky climbs and descents in both directions providing a good step up for beginner mountain bikers.  It's definitely worth a ride out to the end of the Cowan Track, even if its just to add another 4km onto your ride.

This trail doesn't receive the same sort of traffic that the Long Track gets so be careful of low hanging and fallen branches.

This video was shot about a month after the spring back burn was completed.  You can see some of the new growth coming through.

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
