Top Down to Trail Head (clockwise)   (1.04km)

Hinze DamLast Update: 12/6/2014
Some trail names are made up, if there is a different name please let us know.

Video Uploaded: 18/4/2014

Difficulty - Intermediate
Slope - Moderate - Steep
Space - Open - Tight
Surface - Dirt - Loose rocks on dirt - Rock - Roots
Trail type - Single track

Notes:

From the top most point of the trail heading in clockwise direction the trail winds it's way around to the southern side of the hill and the descending increases.  This side of the hill is more open and the trail soil is more sandy and loose on a few corners.

The descent down to the trail head is short lived and leaves you wanting more for the climb and why I think most riders choose to go in the anti-clockwise direction.

Despite being more open that then northern side the turns are tight and lined with trees.  I found there wasn't much of an opportunity to open up on the trail like you can on the trails at nearby Nerang and Mt Joyce, but it was a fun descent none the less.

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
