Difficulty - Easy - Intermediate - A & B Lines
Slope - Undulating
Space - Open
Surface - Dirt - Loose rocks on dirt - Rock - Roots - Wood
Trail type - Single track

Notes:

We’ve featured these trails together because for all intents and purposes it’s the same trail.  There’s no split or deviation at the point where Barney’s ends and Waterside Way 1 starts.

Barney’s is largely on the descent with Waterside Way 1 picking up the very last of the decline.  The trail then winds its way back up and runs down the other side.  Low rolling resistance 29er tyres are your friend in the very moderate descents as are good lines and some powerful strokes in between.

Waterside Way 1 has a couple of technical sections with A-B Lines just near the dam.

The trail comes out near the highway, ride the tunnel underneath to head for Creek Run and the final stretch back to the trail head.

Comments:

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
