Video Uploaded: 7/6/2015

Difficulty - Easy - Intermediate
Slope - Moderate - Steep
Space - Open
Surface - Dirt - Heavy leaf and branch litter - Loose rocks on dirt - Rock - Roots
Trail type - Single track

Notes:

Arguably the toughest climb on the Long LoopMeatballs 1 runs off the fire trail on the north side of Block 9 Road not far from the top of Creek RunMeatballs 1 is a fair climb but not the toughest section that is reserved for Cole’s Climb which includes a number of pinches straight up the fall line made all the more harder by roots and rocks.

There is a short reprieve at the top of Cole’s Climb before crossing the fire trail and onto Meatballs 2 for more ascending punishment.  Meatballs 2 ends at the top of the hill and it’s a short way to Home Run for the descent.  Despite being at the top of the hill there wasn’t much of a view due to the pine trees.

By the amount of pine needs on the trail this area doesn’t get a lot of traffic but if you like your climbs (and subsequent descents) then you really want to make your way up here at the end of your ride.

Sparrow Grade
Climb: 4
Descent: none

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
