Braaap and Ding Ding Ding
East KowenLast Update: 21/8/2015
Some trail names are made up, if there is a different name please let us know.
Difficulty - Easy - Intermediate - Advanced - A & B Lines
Slope - Flat - Steep - Near vertical
Space - Open - Extreme Caution
Surface - Dirt - Eternal Puddles - Heavy leaf and branch litter - Loose rocks on rock - Rock - Roots - Rutted - Sand
Trail type - Single track
Notes:
Braap and Ding Ding Ding are short links of single track presumably designed to link up Cora 3, Cutty, Steak Knives and Piggy with the fire trail climb to Escalator. Neither Braaap nor Ding Ding Ding are worth the trip in their own right.
Both trails are pretty straight runs, Braaap containing a gully section where your's truly went back over like a breaching whale (as shown in the video) and Ding Ding Ding which is predominantly a very very steep climb. However the fire trail after Ding Ding Ding to Escalator is a whole lot steeper and longer, way to steep for me to ride.
At the time of riding both trails were heavily chewed out by motorbikes leaving the trail heavily rutted and boggy.
Not recommended.
