Notes:

Sidewinder was not what I was expecting and I guess in hindsight my expectations were high.  Cleared forest with a trail running around the hill had given me visions of the Redwood's Gunna Gotta or Be Rude Not Too 2.  It was also one of only two trails I still was yet to ride when I went back to Sparrow Hill.  Unfortunately Sidewinder didn't live up to my expectations.

The top section of Sidewinder was quite good, traversing it's way along the ridge line before circling around the hill and dropping down toward Nutcracker .. but it was at this point the trail missed the mark for me.  Incredibly tight both in it's turns and width, followed by lots of very soggy sections made it near impossible to see the trail and keep the flow, unfortunately it turned out to be the only low light of Sparrow Hill.

Sorry for the lens splatter toward the end, but it's unlikely I will ride Sidewinder again in a hurry.

If I was a local I would ask if I could adopt the trail as it has so much promise.

.. enough whinging.

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
