Notes:

The Pilot Wilderness ride is a 57km ride from Dead Horse Gap to the Pinch Campground.  This descent starts at about the 50km mark so by the time you get to this crazy descent you're well and truly stuffed.

You could climb up it of course, if walking up 1000 vertical metres over just 5.8km is your thing?  It may be quicker to ride in from the other end !!

The video paints a pretty accurate picture of what you can expect.  Some really fun fast fire trail, some really crazy steep and loose fire trail and some even steeper and even looser fire trail.

This is an advanced descent and despite being fire trail is one of the most physically challenging rides I've ever been on.

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
