Notes:
This section officially opened during the winter of 2012 and what a fantastic job they have done turning this former path into a great flowy XC trail. Well groomed with the odd small rocky section this trail provides a much needed link from the Jindabyne township to the Mill Creek (Tyrolean Village) trails.
The trail doesn't climb far above the lake so the ride is easy, in fact there are long sections where strategically placed berms and rollers create a great opportunity to pump speed. Good pump riders will get plenty of distance in the open sections near the dam.
The trail is very open with the exception of a small treed section near Jindabyne Dam. The footpath over the dam is narrow and may force tentative riders or those with a fear of falling to walk.
A great trail to just ride ...
