Notes:

Killawarra Rd and onto Green Hill Rd forms a long fire trail stretch that runs from the far eastern edge of the trails where Killawarra crosses Lantana Crossing Road right across the forest providing access to the far western trails.

Killawarra is a very rough fire trail with some fairly decent climbs over very rutted terrain.  It's not the easiest of rides and certainly took it out of me.

The section from Lantana Crossing Rd (or from the end of Eureka (south) as shown in the video runs south west until it meets Green Hill Rd.  To my knowledge there aren't any trails further up Killawarra.  In fact from Eureka until Green Hill Rd there aren't any single tracks on either side.

Green Hill Rd runs straight on from Killawarra Rd from here the fire trail undulates all the way up to Tinonee Rd.  There are some really fast descending sections and a steep climb at the end.

There are a number of single tracks running off Green Hill Rd, some of these are very overgrown, essentially making them deactivated, however Green Hill MTB runs on the north side between the Killawarra Rd / Green Hill Rd intersection and Red Hill Rd might be worth a look.  Traverse, which is not long after Red Hill Rd, links up with Chads Route, a trail I quite enjoyed.  3x3 which is a little further down on the north side was unrideable - highly overgrown and dipping too steeply into narrow gullies.   On the upper (south side) is "Up" a trail that looked ok from the far eastern entrance.  Up rejoins Green Hill Rd at the intersection of River - Up is probably worth a look if you want to get off the fire trail.

This is not your average fire trail.  It has some very rough sections with ridiculous ruts, steep rough climbs, rough fast descents, muddy and wet sections.  Very far removed from the dirt roads in the area like Tinonee Rd.

Comments:

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
