Trail type - Single track

Notes:

Daves Gully is short and scary.  A real roller coaster gully trail dipping 6-8ft with near vertical walls, it looks like a Snowboard halfpipe (but for the narrow transition).

You need a fair amount of skill to ride this trail properly however you can take the chicken run and ride down the gully - but where's the fun in that?

You can see by the video that I was pretty tentative on my first run, I would have ridden it again with far more conviction was it not for the crazy ladder bridge that crossed the gully about 2/3 of the way through and 6ft above the floor.  It scared the bejesus out of me just walking over it.

The trail starts at the intersection of Tinonee Rd, Sweet As, Chads Route, Green Bottle/Son of Skull and ends not long into Moab.

If gullies and heights are your thing then Daves Gully is DEFINITELY worth a blast.

Comments:

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
