Belco Switchbacks

Bruce RidgeLast Update: 27/2/2016
Some trail names are made up, if there is a different name please let us know.

Video Uploaded: 13/11/2015

Difficulty - Easy - Intermediate - A & B Lines
Slope - Undulating
Space - Open - Tight
Surface - Dirt - Loose rocks on dirt - Rock - Roots - Rutted - Wood
Trail type - Single track

Notes:

Belco Switchbacks is a little tighter and rougher than most of the trails that circumnavigate the Bruce Ridge Nature Reserve.  Not exactly unexpected by any means, as the name suggests the trail contains switchbacks that at the time of riding had water and riding damage.

Belco Switchbacks also has a few roots and a-line options and many of the tight corners are lined with trees.  Certainly one of the more technical sections of trail.  On the anti-clockwise loop the start is on the climb before descending into the switchbacks and finishing with an undulating pedal.

Belco Switchbacks starts at the end of Burin and goes through to Heath Run.

Comments:

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
