Trail type - Single track

Notes:

Flinging Scotsman is another nice undulating single track with some fast open sections, tight technical sections and a couple of short climbs.  This is one of the more sharp rocky sections of trail and with the heavy leaf litter the rocks are not always obvious.  it's definitely worth dialing up the focus on this section of trail.

Flinging Scotsman becomes Cover Shot and immediately ramps up with some technical sections.  Rock Gardens, logs, small drops (rolled with any level of speed) are some of the rare treats you will find on Cover Shot, however the descending fun is short lived as for the most part Cover Shot is a climb up to Tangles.

Tangles is more of the same but a bit next level.  Some steep climbs, small drops that you barely have time to notice let alone prepare for, roots, pinch climbs, tight twists through trees, tight twists through trees with roots, tight twists through trees with roots and sand, tight twists through trees with roots and sand followed by slightly technical pinch climbs.   Tangles is fun but takes it's toll - definitely one of those trails where smooth is fast!

Tangles ends at a fire trail, turn right and climb the hill to Genesis.

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
