Surface - Dirt - Rock - Roots - Rutted
Trail type - Single track

Notes:

Long Meadows didn't seem that long, which makes me wonder how short Short Meadows is?

The first section of trail is a slightly rutty single trail that gradually gets steeper as you climb.  The steeper it gets the more challenging it gets with roots and rocks creating what would seem to be an unpassable barrier at times.  The final climb section was well beyond my skill set/fitness but my guide managed to navigate the technical challenges with consummate ease.

Steep with some big rocks in the middle of the track make for a really challenging technical climb. A good practice trail.

Starting from the Lost Forest, Long Meadows merges at a narrow fire trail which we climbed to the start of Browns.

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
