Notes:

Emu’s Fun starts from the Trail Map and gently winds it’s way up to the western boundary fence before heading back down the other side of the gully.

The descent from the fence to the dirt road at Ned Kelly Corner is quite fast and open with a few banked corners along the way.  There are a few some rocks poking through to keep you on your toes, a number of easy rollers and some trees toward the end, but overall this is a very nice flowing descent ending with some ladder bridges at the intersection of the Ned Kelly Traverse.

For someone like me, who likes a clear flowing run with open corners and a chance to get off the brakes, this trail was one I really enjoyed.

Emu's Run is also a good access trail for the Tokyo Express which then leads to either the Ridgeline Double Trails or the Copperhead Flow Trail.

Apparently the trail got it's name after one of the trail builders was chased by an Emu down the trail.  I had a similar experience!   GoPro Video of Mountain Bike Emu Attack.

Comments:

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
