Space - Open - Extreme Caution
Surface - Concrete - Dirt - Grass - Gravel - Heavy leaf and branch litter - Sealed
Trail type - Firetrail - Sealed Road

Notes:

I’ll be straight up.  There are only two reasons to ride this section 1. to see the water and 2. to walk back up the hill.

There is only 200m of off-road from John Oxley Rd to the Sydney Water building from there it is either sealed or concrete road all the way to Middle Harbour.  While the surface is often rough it’s hardly offroad.

It’s only redeeming feature is the ridiculously steep hill but due to the amount of leaf and tree litter I was very heavily on the brakes and didn’t enjoy it at all.

The view at the bottom is not that great, in fact it’s one of the ugliest sections of bush in the area due to the amount of graffiti.

Unless you really want the adventure I wouldn’t bother riding past the Sydney Water building.

Parking on John Oxley Drive.

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
