Notes:

The Exit Trail, like Arepa is a new trail built on a section of forest with a long standing history.  The Nursery Rd area was harvested during my trip to the Redwoods in November 2015.  The Exit Trail, like Arepa, was recut after raising money through crowd funding.

The new 2015 Exit Trail is a great way to exit the Forest and a natural extension when riding from Tokorangi and Turkish Delight, it makes for an amazing 12 minute descent.

The Exit Trail does have a short climb at the start, but it's a fairly mellow gradient before the fun begins.  The initial part in the cleared forest area is super fast and flowy with a series of banked corners before it drops down into the trees for some really fast traverses and reasonably big berms.  There are a few small drops (easily rolled) in the final stretch before you pop out in the Redwood Grove at the Nursery Rd Gate.

In my opinion it's the best exit in the Redwoods (closely followed by Mad If You Don't) and in this area is definitely my preferred way of getting to the Nursery Rd Car Park.
