Moab wins the award for the most ironic trail name ever. The Moab Trail winds and undulates its way through some of the deepest darkest rain-forest in the Kiwarrak State Forest and there's barely a rock in sight. It's about as far removed from Moab Utah as you can get.
While not overly technical it does dip and dive quite aggressively requiring a fair level of XC skill to keep the momentum going. That being said it would be far from the end of the world if as a beginner you had to walk up a few of the gullies.
Moab was a good ride and comes with a few challenges and surprises along the way, make sure you put Moab on your to do list.
