Notes:

Up River is probably best categorised as a freestyle DH course but easily ridden as a Gravity Enduro trail.  If you're comfortable riding small to medium gap jumps you are probably going to love it.  Your's truly however chickened out on every one.  As with all technical trails riders should scope out all the features on this trail before riding.  Some are not in peak condition, some of the gap jumps while not high have a long gap to clear, there are ever present trees around the jumps and plenty of fallen branches to contend with.

Up River was not one of my favourite trails because it's technical features (which I avoided) are the real draw card.  While there are B-Lines the trail didn't offer much more than the jumps.  I spent most of the scoping ride hard on the brakes and never felt confident to let the bike run.

But I suspect those who like a bit of air-time would review this trail very very differently.

The trail starts by riding toward the top of Tinonee Rd and taking the right hand fire trail, Peach Tree Trail, up to the start of Up River and Trampoline.  There are some big logs to sit on while you gear up.  It's a long ride up Tinonee Rd however on Day 2 I saw guys shuttling in the 2WDs so there must be legal entry from Dean's Creek Rd.

Up River ends on Tinonee Rd  not far from where River begins on the other side of Tinonee Rd
