Notes:
The Padwha Loop is one of the best beginner / kids loops I've seen, not only for the quality of the trail but the ability for Mum or Dad to be able to see the whole trail from a single vantage point. It's not a skills park nor a practice area it's a fair dinkum trail adventure for the young or total beginner.
More trail centre's need trails like this!
The Padwha Loop begins at the Trail Map, runs across the park and up a slight incline with a nice switchback taking you up toward the dirt road. It then runs parallel to the road for a bit before descending through a series of corners. Some of these corners are tight, some even have a small berm however all are relatively open and running off the trail is unlikely to cause any issues. In fact the trail is so shallow (ie doesn't dip below the grass line) that running wide at any point is not going to cause any issues.
The final section of the trail is probably the hardest with a few small rollers, a steeper (but near flat) incline before dropping back down to the car park area and the trail sign.
There are a number of rocks on the trail that are barely raised above the surface but will probably be enough for the littlies to tell stories of conquering the MASSIVE rock garden.
The trail can be ridden in reverse which would involve more technical climbing and a faster straighter descent.
For Mum's and Dad's setting up your chair under the tree in the car park area should give you a great view of the whole trail. The only thing to watch is your little one taking off up Emu's Run from the trail sign or ending up on the dirt roads
Kudos to Bungarra for creating this trail - there needs to be more of these!
