Video Uploaded: 3/11/2013

Difficulty - Easy
Slope - Flat
Space - Open
Surface - Dirt - Gravel
Trail type - Bike Path - Graded Dirt Road

Notes:

The Bolt Trail is a short section of wide trail that runs from the cricket ground, past the RC Car Club track, along the side of the lower cricket ground eventually linking with the trail we've called Car Park to Water Treatment Plant.

As it's a wide path and a major pedestrian route it doesn't really provide a great deal of excitement for mountain bikers however what it does do is create a south western section of a Fred Caterson Reserve loop (linking The Start to the lower end of the Car Park to Water Treatment Plant.  Other than that it's not a section worth riding.

You will notice from the video and map satellite view that there are a number of small single tracks running off to the right and one wide path, these lead up to the car park.  The wide path has a large number of steps at the top end.

First timer beginners track or transport section only.

Comments:

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
