Notes:
Quarry Track runs from the end of the Ridge Top Track down to the Bare Creek Track.
Ridge Top becomes Quarry at the park gate, while it looked like there might have been an overgrown single track around the top side of the gate, a climb over the rocks at the gate is easy enough.
The Quarry Track is a downhill fire trail with no respite, for riders coming up the other way it must be torture however it is the most direct route from Belrose/Davidson (via Cascades Track and/or Heath and Bare Creek Track) to the Wildflower Gardens so plenty do it. I ran into a group powering their way up, as seen on the Ridge Top Track video.
The Quarry track is one of the tougher rides in the area, despite being short it is one of the steepest descents (with no flat sections) has 16 large water bars and a number of tight, somewhat blind corners.
The trail is rough in places and has quite a lot of loose rubble. At the bottom is a fairly easy creek crossing that pops you up onto the Bare Creek Track just a few hundred metres from the Lower Cambourne Track.
It took a lot of courage to get off the brakes on this descent. Listen to the trail noise on the video to hear how quickly I pick up speed, it gives you a good indication of how steep the trail is. I was braking very heavily coming into every corner and most of the waterbars.
