Notes:
From the end of Kung Fu Walrus Ext it's a nice pedal up Lakefront Rd, Green Lake Rd to Eight Mile Rd (some of which I walked). On the other side Sandstone Rd is a flat pedal until things get steep up Lookout Rd.
Lookout Rd itself took me more than 35 minutes to climb, most of which was done walking. Fit riders could ride the whole way but it was too steep and long for my legs. From Kung Fu Walrus Ext to Lookout Rd took me about 12 minutes at a pretty casual pace.
There are some great views along the whole stretch but I highly recommend climbing all the way to the top of Lookout Rd to sample the view back over the Redwoods. You can see how far you've come to get here - it's a long way.
