Notes:

Another  surprise packet.  Yellow Brick Road, like Old Chevy and Creek are some really  enjoyable lower mountain XC trails, trails that made me glad to have brought my  XC bike.

Yellow Brick Road runs from Reservoir Rd directly opposite the end of Old Chevy over a small hill to Sandy Skid Road.

The climb  is moderate with a few easy switchbacks and the trail was in great condition at  the time of riding.  The descent has a  few steep sections with deeply rutted corners but I never felt out of control  despite riding the damp trail on Crossmark tyres.

This is  another of the outstanding lower mountain XC trails that can be easily ridden  by lower intermediate riders on just about any bike (some level of fitness  required for the climb).

My loop on  this day started at the 8 Mile Carpark,  up Hill Rd (from 8 Mile Gate), turned right onto Reservoir Rd to Old Chevy, Yellow Brick Road, Sandy Skid Rd, Pondy New, Roller Coaster and down Reservoir Rd to the car  park.

This website is brought to you by MTB weekend warrior Aaron Markie.
There are plenty of great websites out there with a wealth of information about Mountain Bike Trails,
however in my experience its hard to get a good mix of info, maps, photos and videos of trails I've never ridden.
The idea of this website is to tie those 4 elements together and give you a more detailed look at the MTB Trails I ride.
If you have anything to add then let me know.
