Notes:
Is the Long Loop’s way from the top gate toward the far eastern section of the forest. In the afternoon sun it was a very picturesque ride with the sun filtering through the uncluttered tall pines and lighting up the pine needle covered ground.
Blue Lagoon is the longest trail in Sparrow, it contains the longest and one of the steepest climbs on the long loop which makes things tough being about 2/3 of the way around the loop.
The descents are quite fun, but it’s not a
case of climbing up and over the hill, the trail winds its way up and down the
hillside before eventually ending at the Trig on the top of the hill.
