Notes:
The Perimeter Trail is a great fire trail ride that runs from Terry Hills to Duffys Forest ending at the intersection of the Cullamine Track and the Long Track.
This section is the second section from the Durumbil Ave entrance and the intersection of the Cullamine Track and the Long Track.
This section is a lot flatter than the previous section. This trail is typical undulating fire trail with sections of dirt, rocky descents/climbs and a lot of easy peddling. While you probably wont notice there is a slight climb most of the way, which means on the way back there’s plenty of freewheeling and a chance to pick up the pace.
There is also a single track running around the back of the Golf Course. I have mapped this section and shown it at the end of the video.
Overall this is a great fire trail and perfect for beginners. Link it up with the first section of the Perimeter Trail and a run out to the end of the Long Track and you have a 24km return ride with some nice hills to help build your fitness.
A very common ride is to start from the roundabout at the Japanese School (the begining of this trail), out along the Long Track and back. Its about 17km return and will take between 1-2 hours depending on fitness and breaks.
